Day 1 – : Arrive Quebec City

Arrive in Quebec City and check into your accommodations where you will enjoy dinner.  Overnight: Hotel Plaza Quebec



Day 2 –: Quebec City to Moncton

Today is mainly a travel day as you continue to New Brunswick where you will meet your Atlantic Canada Guide and become acquainted over dinner.  Overnight: Rodd Moncton

Day 3 – – Moncton to Halifax

Experience a true natural wonder this morning at the Hopewell Rocks on the coast of the Bay of Fundy. Marvel at these massive flower-pot shaped formations sculpted by the highest tides on the planet.  Continue to Nova Scotia, where your home for the next two nights is cosmopolitan Halifax on the Atlantic Ocean.  On arrival, enjoy a city tour to learn about the people and places that have shaped Halifax. Overnight: Hampton Inn by Hilton Halifax Downtown.



Day 4 –– South Shore Touring

Breakfast this morning is in Peggy’s Cove, home of one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world.  Next, travel to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the Bluenose.  Enjoy a walking tour to fully experience one of the most remarkably preserved colonial settlements in the New World and enjoy lunch on your own on the scenic waterfront before continuing on to Mahone Bay; see the iconic landscape of three historic waterfront churches and enjoy some free time to explore the many artisan galleries, specialty shops, and museums.  Return to Halifax and visit Fairview Lawn Cemetery to learn about the local connections to the Titanic Disaster. Overnight: Hampton Inn by Hilton Halifax Downtown.



Day 5 – – Halifax to Baddeck

Cape Breton Island awaits!  Cross the Canso Causeway from mainland Nova Scotia to the island that has been ranked as the most beautiful in the world by Conde Nest magazine.  Arrive in beautiful Baddeck, your home for the next two nights, and visit Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site to learn of the many accomplishments of this genius who made his home on Cape Breton. Overnight: Inverary Resort

Day 6 – – Cabot Trail Touring

Experience one of the most stunningly picturesque drives in North America today as you tour the Cabot Trail which winds around the rocky splendor of Cape Breton’s northern shore, ascending to the incredible plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park.  Look-offs offer unforgettable vistas of Cape Breton’s rugged coastline so be sure to have your camera on hand.  This evening, enjoy traditional Cape Breton fiddle music, song and dance at a “Ceilidh”.  This Gaelic word, pronounced “kay-lee”, translates to a gathering of people.  Overnight: Inverary Resort

Day 7 –– Baddeck to Charlottetown

Travel back to mainland Nova Scotia via the Canso Causeway and board a ferry to Prince Edward Island where you will marvel at the beauty of the scenic North Shore of the island.  Drive by red cliffs, white beaches, gently sloping sand dunes and green fields of Prince Edward Island National Park and visit Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place, the alluring inspiration of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic books.  Experience true Maritime hospitality this evening at a traditional Maritime lobster supper (meat alternative available).  Your accommodations are in Charlottetown, the birthplace of Confederation. Day 8 – – Charlottetown to Edmundston

Cross Confederation Bridge, one of the top engineering achievements of the 21st century, back to New Brunswick and enjoy a photo stop in Shediac with the largest lobster in the world.  Continue to Fredericton where you will enjoy lunch on your own and bid farewell to your Atlantic Canada Guide.  En route, visit Kings Landing Historical Settlement, a 300-acre living history museum boasting a 19th-century village full of costumed characters, farm animals, and their incredible stories.  Bid farewell to your Atlantic Canada Guide in Fredericton, enjoy a picture stop of the longest covered bridge in the world, and check into your accommodations.  Overnight: Best Western Plus Edmundston

Day 9 – – Edmundston to Quebec City

Return to Quebec City and enjoy a city tour with a local guide before checking into your hotel. Overnight: Hotel Manoir Victoria
