Ottawa Tulip Festival!
Featuring 2 Dates at The Historic Lord Elgin Hotel
Friday, May 14th – Monday, May 17th
4 DAYS – 3 NIGHTS
When springtime rolls around in 2021 we will all be excited to leave home, board the coach and take the scenic drive out to our Nation’s capital. The Canadian Tulip Festival started in Ottawa in 1952 and if you have never had the chance to visit Ottawa during tulip time it is a special treat! Thousands of Tulips are spread all over the city during the festival that holds various kinds of culture events. On this tour you will see Ottawa’s largest displays of flowers at Commissioners Park, the festival’s main site. There are food trucks and unique items for sale by local crafters as well as historical displays. One of the best parts of this tour is that you will be staying downtown at the historic Lord Elgin Hotel! This gorgeous property is ideally located steps from the Rideau Canal and Confederation Park. Take a walk and explore the Parliament building grounds, the Byward Market or cross the street and visit the National Art Gallery. You will see and learn about Ottawa with a local step on guide. Enjoy a visit to the famous ByWard Market where you will have some free time to shop, have lunch and explore. Included is a visit to a museum of your choice, The War Museum, The Canadian Museum of History or The Canadian Museum of Nature. While discovering Ottawa with us, we will take a cruise where you can sit back and relax…but have your camera ready for the spectacular views and architecture of the city.
