Set out on an unforgettable whale-watching adventure in Quebec, where the St. Lawrence River teems with life each summer. After arriving in Quebec City for our first night, we set out the following morning for the picturesque Charlevoix region, making several delightful stops along the way. Our journey includes a visit to the magnificent Sainte-Anne Basilica, home to the world-renowned Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, a stop in the charming artistic town of Baie-Saint-Paul, and a visit to a local emu farm. For the next two nights, we’ll enjoy accommodations at Le Petit Manoir du Casino, beautifully situated in the heart of Charlevoix. This inviting property offers stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The adventure continues with an unforgettable whale-watching excursion aboard the AML Grande Fleuve, offering prime viewing opportunities and an extraordinary encounter with some of the world’s largest marine mammals. Each summer, these majestic whales return to the nutrient-rich waters of the St. Lawrence River after wintering in warmer climates, drawn by the abundance of food near the mouth of the Saguenay River. After enjoying some leisure time in the picturesque maritime village of Tadoussac, we’ll savour a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy a restful overnight stay. The next day, our return journey to Quebec City includes a visit to the historic Moulin Seigneurial des Éboulements, a charming 18th-century flour mill built atop a waterfall on the Rivière du Moulin. Back in Quebec City, a guided city tour awaits, featuring many of its most iconic sites, including the Plains of Abraham, Cape Diamond, the Joan of Arc Garden, Grande Allée, Parliament, and Place Royale, among others. We’ll conclude this remarkable day with a traditional sugar shack dinner, sharing stories and memories from our incredible journey before spending one final night in Quebec City. This is truly a tour you won’t want to miss!
