Christmas Ladies’ Day Out!

Join us on this new and amazing Christmas Ladies Day Out!  (We may have to close the office today because the whole Team wants to go!)  Join us for a morning at Queenston Mile Vineyard that will be full of creativity and Christmas Cheer!  Lunch will be served at the winery, and we will enjoy a tasting experience with our meal.  After we will travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake where we will take in the theatrical double world premier productions at the Norm Foster Festival at the Navy Hall.

Learn the art of cookie decorating!  We will decorate six Christmas themed cookies, three sugar & three gingerbreads, with Red Seal Certified pastry chef Tanya Huggins, owner of Bella Cakes Niagara.  Tanya will guide us through professional techniques like outlining, flooding and layering plus share tips and tricks for adding beautiful holiday details.   Enjoy a live royal icing demo and take-home Tanya’s signature icing and sugar cookie recipes!  No Experience Needed – Just bring your sweet tooth and Holiday Spirit.

After working up our appetite, we will have a served three-course lunch together at the Queenston Mile Winery, along with a wine pairings experience.  After lunch we will travel a short way into Niagara-on-the- Lake where we will see a production presented by the Norm Foster Festival!

It’s a Foster Holiday Double Bill at the Navy Hall – The Office Christmas Party & Widow Wonderland, with Norm Foster bringing warmth, wit, and laughter to even the stickiest situations in these two irresistibly charming stories.  The first part is “THE OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY”!  It’s Christmas Eve at Buxton’s Department store and Kelly Newman has arrived during the office Christmas party ready to assume her new role as Office Manager. Everything is looking rosy but then she runs into James — ‘not-so-rosy’— Rose.  The second part is the “WIDOW WONDERLAND” also a World Premiere!  This cheerful Christmas play that throws a widow and a widower together at their apartment building’s Christmas dinner for those who are alone during the holiday season. Michael and Sharon wind up at a table for two during this December 23rd dinner and what follows is an evening of getting to know one another….
